I Sr. Savita was inspired by the above adage of my founders to begin my teaching profession. As a teacher and now Headmistress of Holy Cross Convent School, Kalyan would like to tell the teachers and parents and all those who are involved in teaching – learning process of a student that each student has immense capacity to excel, in her/his own way. The inmate talents, their wisdom, learning speed and knowledge of new theories, discoveries and technology are par excellent than 20 years before.
The times and approaches allow me to learn that our students need practical life lessons and skills. Their mind grasps all that is new and exciting. They are interested in matters in which they have chance to get involved.
On the other hand, we must get back to our values. Each activity of school shall teach them about truth, responsibilities, trust in God (prayer) and care for all forms of life. School shall strike the balance between:
- • Alone to whole
- • Competitions to contentment
- • Theories to practical.
Let us build our nation on strong foundation and invest our resources to educate our young generation.
